The Founder's Story

Hei hei! I'm Anthony and I'm the founder of Knutti the Viking. The idea was simple: I wanted to create a Viking brand that provides a fun side to the city of York's Viking history.

York is famous for its medieval Shambles, the Minster and for its erstwhile Viking inhabitants. Although there's a Viking archaeological site at Coppergate in York, the city was calling out for a Viking celebrity. And so, The Knutti Store introduced Knutti to the world!

Knutti hails from a small village in Norway. He took a longship to York to open his trading post and make a living. The Knutti Store is located at 43 Goodramgate.
